Prompt #68: Energy + Pretense

Hello Writers and Journalers,

Today’s journaling prompt is Energy and Pretense. This prompt invites you to sit down and take a look at where you’re pretending in your life, or where others are presenting that they’re pretending in your life, and decide whether it’s worth the energy.

In my opinion, if you are doing a fake-it-til-you-make-it to get to a better emotional state or improve your study habits or your career opportunities or something else along those lines, the return on investment for your energy, and that pretense, is worth it.

Are there areas in your life where pretending and pretense is not worth the energy? Only you can decide that.
