Today’s prompt is Critique and Intelligence. The last time critique came up, it was paired with structured. This time, the focus is different.

How do you feel about critique and intelligence?

Critiques come up in all walks of life. This prompt is very obviously going to work for writers and creative artists, but regardless of what industry you’re in, or where you are in life, or what’s going on in your life, you get critiqued.

You get judged. Whether you like it or not. Whether you asked for it. Whether you expect it. Whether you want it.

It’s a human thing. It often comes from love. It often doesn’t come from love. But what does it have to do with intelligence?

Nothing.

You are invited right now to focus on the fact that critique is about developing skill set, identifying what works and what doesn’t work, and how to improve.

It’s not about intelligence.
