The Sharkyfish Schoarship Fund
was established in 2020 to honor the memory of Catherine Phillips, a dear friend and fellow writer whose hard won courage, beautiful storytelling, and boundless creativity inspired so many.
The purpose of the Sharkyfish Scholarship Fund is to continue Catherine’s lifelong support of underrepresented voices by making it possible for
LGBTQIA+ writers, writers of color, and senior writers within the To Live & Write community to be able to participate in my labs, workshops, retreats, and future fee-based events and activities that might otherwise be cost prohibitive.
